Court-issued payment order in the automated dunning procedure — with a 14-day objection period.
The court payment order (Mahnbescheid, delivered in a yellow envelope) must not be confused with a private dunning letter. A hard 14-day period to file an objection runs from service (§ 692 ZPO). If the deadline is missed, an enforcement order (Vollstreckungsbescheid) — and with it compulsory enforcement — follows.
