Your own quote, your own terms, your own invoice — check before sending
You wrote it yourself — and now it is going out. The outgoing check reads your document through the eyes of the other side: what is missing, what contradicts itself, what was never filled in?

Deadline at a glance
Before sending
No statutory deadline applies to your own document — the check is worthwhile as long as you can still make changes. Once sent, an offer is binding under § 145 BGB, and a termination cannot be withdrawn unilaterally.
It is an AI, not a person: nobody looks at your individual case, and we do not know who signs up or for what reason. That is why we give pointers, but no legal advice on the individual case. Guidelines and playbooks in the platform are only guardrails: the AI relies on the available sources and your information. AI can make mistakes — check important results, and if in doubt, ask a lawyer.
What we pay special attention to
Curated from real cases. The AI review flags exactly these points in your document.
The cancellation policy for distance selling is missing or deviates from the model — the right of withdrawal then only expires twelve months and fourteen days after the end of the regular period (§ 356 Abs. 4 BGB).
An invoice without the mandatory details of § 14 Abs. 4 UStG — the recipient may lose the input tax deduction and has a reason to hold back payment.
Standard terms mentioned in the cover letter but neither enclosed nor accessible — without a reasonable opportunity to take note of them, they do not become part of the contract (§ 305 Abs. 2 BGB).
Payment term, deadline or liability cap differ between the offer and your own standard terms — doubts in interpretation are resolved against the user (§ 305c Abs. 2 BGB).
Placeholders from the template have been left in ("[Name]", "XXX", "DD.MM.YYYY") — by far the most common finding of the outgoing check.
The deadline in figures and the deadline in words contradict each other ("14 (fourteen) days" versus "within ten days").
Mandatory details on business letters are missing — legal form, registered office, registry court and registration number (§ 35a GmbHG, § 125a HGB).
An offer without a period of validity: without your own time limit, you remain bound by your offer until it lapses under § 147 BGB (§ 145 BGB).
What you can do here in 5 minutes
Every other check on this platform answers the question “What does someone want from me?”. Here it is the other way round: the document comes from you, and the question is whether it can go out as it is. The three most costly mistakes are not legal subtleties but mundane ones — a mandatory element is missing (the cancellation notice (Widerrufsbelehrung) in distance selling, a mandatory detail on the invoice), the document contradicts itself (the payment term in the quote does not match the one in the terms and conditions), or a placeholder from the template is still in it. All three are hardest to spot in your own text, because you know what was meant.
Upload your own document — quote, terms and conditions, termination letter, invoice or cover letter. Our AI tools check for missing mandatory elements, contradictions within the document and open placeholders, work through the checklist for the respective document type point by point and mark every finding verbatim in the original.

Every finding is marked verbatim in the original — you can see which passage is meant.
- Upload your own document – Quote, terms and conditions, termination, invoice or cover letter — as a PDF or Word file.
- Run the outgoing check – Missing mandatory elements, contradictions in your own text, open placeholders, checklist for the document type.
- Revise and send – Every finding is marked verbatim in the original — you can see which passage is meant.
- No approval in the legal sense: a “can go out” is a statement about the points checked, not an assurance that the document is legally effective.
- No commercial assessment — the check does not judge whether a price, a deadline or a liability cap has been wisely chosen.
- No knowledge of arrangements that exist only orally or in your email correspondence; the text you upload is what is checked.
- No conclusive content review of terms and conditions and no statement on the risk of cease-and-desist letters for permanently used consumer terms.
- No tax advice — whether the VAT statement, a tax exemption or the reverse charge procedure has been applied correctly is for your tax adviser to clarify.

What the AI checks — and what only a lawyer can decide
An AI is only as good as the question. We show openly where your answer is reliable and where you should speak with a lawyer.
If you intend to use standard terms and conditions (AGB) with consumers on a permanent basis (§§ 305–310 BGB, risk of a cease-and-desist letter), for contracts whose value you could not afford to lose, when terminating an employment relationship (written form under § 623 BGB and protection against dismissal), or if the other side is already represented by a lawyer, you should involve a lawyer before sending.
