Tell the assistant what should change – it changes exactly those paragraphs in your file. Styles, numbering and letterhead stay as you set them up. Every change becomes a new version in the case.
Change exactly the passage you mean
“Phrase section 3 more cautiously” or “add limitation after the second paragraph”: the assistant reads your file paragraph by paragraph and changes only the affected passages. Afterwards it summarizes in a few sentences what changed.

Tracked changes and comments
In track changes mode the assistant writes its suggestions as tracked changes under the author “Assistant (AI)” and can add comments. You open the file in Word and accept or reject each change individually.

For contract negotiations the assistant creates two new documents on click: a redline with all changes and a clean copy. It can likewise compare any two versions of the same file.

Drafts saved directly as Word in the case
If you have a draft output “as Word”, the assistant saves it directly in the case's document area and continues working in that file. A file you uploaded serves as the template, not a generic standard template.

Does the assistant change my original file?
No. Every change becomes a new version in the case. The original stays unchanged, and you can return to an earlier version at any time.
Are my styles and letterhead preserved?
Yes. The assistant changes only the affected paragraphs and uses the styles already defined in your file.
What happens if a change cannot be made cleanly?
Then the assistant rejects it and tells you why instead of guessing. This also applies if it would leave out text.
Is anything saved without me seeing it?
Not unnoticed: a change is made only on your instruction in the chat and is saved immediately as a new version in the file. Below the chat you see what changed, and you can go back to the earlier version at any time. If you want to review first, switch on “Review changes first”; redline and clean copy are created only on click.
