In one sentence
A case file now maps the life cycle of court proceedings: instances, pleadings, attachments and hearings are connected instead of lying side by side as a pile of single documents.
What changes
In most systems, proceedings are a filing cabinet: you put documents in, and how they belong together lives in your head. Now the case knows its instances. An appeal continues in the same case; documents, facts and deadlines stay together. A register tracks the series of pleadings, that is claim, defense, reply and rejoinder, including those from the other side and the court. The type of proceedings determines stages and roles: civil, criminal, family, labor, administrative and constitutional, and in Germany also social-court and tax-court proceedings.
What deliberately does not happen
Stage and party role appear as a suggestion with evidence. Only your confirmation sets them, and every change can be undone. Renaming, new versions and changing the instance trigger no analysis and change no deadlines. The portal files nothing with the court and sends nothing.

The page Court cases and attachments shows the flow. The how-to is in the manual under Court proceedings in the case and Pleading register; a short version is in the portal under “What’s new”. Instances, register and attachments use no AI; the prices concern only the AI functions.
