§ 03 · For lawyers

Deadline, strict deadline, follow-up, court hearing: the deadline register in your own calendar

The deadline register distinguishes four kinds of entries and can be subscribed to in Outlook, Google or Apple Calendar, with neutral titles without client names. Deleted entries now appear there as canceled.

3 minFor lawyers
A thin red crosshair divides a dark green background into four fields, with concentric rings beneath it like the mark of an appointment.

In one sentence

Your deadlines and appointments appear in your usual calendar, with neutral titles, and a deadline notice that was found moves into the register with one click, without an AI run.

Four kinds instead of one list

Every entry in the deadline register is a deadline, a strict deadline, a follow-up or a court hearing. Strict deadlines are highlighted. Court hearings carry the time, place and type of hearing and appear that way in calendar exports as well. The portal adopts time and place only if they appear verbatim in a document.

From notice to register

If the analysis finds a deadline in a letter, the notice shows “Add to deadlines”. Example: the court's letter says “Statement by 30.10.2026”. One click, and the deadline is in the register, without an AI run and without using your quota. The entry can be undone immediately, and if the date lies in the past, the portal asks first. You check the type of deadline and the calculation yourself; the entry notes this as well.

Subscribing in your calendar

In the settings, under “Subscribe to your calendar”, you create a personal address and add it once to Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. The title of each entry names only the kind and your case number, never the client, the opponent or the subject matter. Court hearings appear with their time, deadlines as all-day entries. The address is shown only once and can be revoked. New since October 15: if you delete a deadline, it appears in the subscribed calendar as canceled for 30 days instead of silently remaining there. The subscription is free of charge and uses no quota.

What it does not do

  • Deadlines are never estimated. A date goes into the register only if it appears in the document or was calculated from a documented date of receipt.
  • Calendar apps fetch changes at their own intervals, usually after minutes to hours. The deadline register remains authoritative.
  • A strict deadline is highlighted but not classified legally.
  • The reminders seven, three and one day in advance remain as before, see Deadline reminder.
