Injunction proceedings and main proceedings as one project: bundling case files, branching variants

You combine related case files into a project: one timeline for all deadlines, a cross-check on click. And each of your questions to the assistant can be branched off into a new branch without changing the origin.

In one sentence

You bundle case files that belong together into a project, and you try out variants in a separate branch. No case file passes content on to another without your consent.

A typical case

A client takes action against a competitor: injunction proceedings and the main proceedings are running, so there are two case files. Under “Projects” you create a project with the template “Interim proceedings and main proceedings”. The project page shows the deadlines and appointments of both case files in one sequence, along with the versions of the pleadings. With “Compare the cases” the AI checks, on click, where the two case files contradict each other, for example a date that is stated differently in the application for an injunction than in the complaint. A finding without a source is discarded; a contradiction needs evidence from both case files.

Sister case files only with release

In the chat of a case file, the card “Release for the other cases of the project” asks before the assistant reads the summaries of the sister case files, and only for the same client. In the project chat, the assistant reads the case files via their case number, strictly read-only.

Branching instead of overwriting

In the menu of one of your questions, choose “Branch from here”. A new thread is created with the history up to that point; the origin remains as it was, and “To the origin” takes you back. This lets you compare two strategies side by side, for example a reply with and one without an alternative motion. A branch deliberately does not take everything along: the working document is never copied, a document variant is created only if you choose “Branch from here – with a document variant”, and attachments that you have excluded from the AI stay out. Copied messages are not charged again; creating projects and branching cost nothing.

What it does not do

  • The project timeline does not calculate deadlines; it shows what is in the deadline registers of the case files.
  • The cross-check works for up to six case files of the same client. It uses a share of your quota, which is shown beforehand and charged only for a usable result.
  • Merging a branch back into the origin is not provided for; you adopt what you like.
