The review cockpit: have an entire document reviewed in the editor, finding by finding

One click on “Review” examines your contract or pleading section by section. Each finding sits at its place in the text, with a suggestion, severity and legal basis, and nothing changes without your click.

In one sentence

In the document editor, the AI reviews an entire document when you click, section by section, and places every finding with a suggestion at the matching point in the text; you decide on each one individually.

How a review works

You open the opposing party's 40-page supply agreement in the editor and click “Review”. In the “Review document” dialog you choose what is to be reviewed, for example a contract from the opposing party, and how thoroughly: Quick, Standard or Thorough. Before anything is charged, you see the scope and the cost range; only “Start review” sets the run in motion. The portal continues reviewing long documents in the background, section by section, and shows the progress.

Finding by finding

The findings appear in the “Review cockpit” tab, separated into “Open” and “Decided”. Each finding has a type, such as Not permitted, Risk, Gap, Unclear, Style or Missing clause, a severity and, where available, a legal basis marked “Verified” or “Not verified”. A suggestion shows the text before and after. With “Accept” you adopt it, as a tracked change if you wish; you can also adjust it, reject it, defer it, comment on it or have it explained. Keyboard shortcuts help when there are many findings. At the end, a review report with all decisions can be exported.

When the text changes

If you keep working during the review, the cockpit reassigns the findings. If a passage can no longer be found unambiguously, the finding shows “This passage has changed – check the finding again.” The cockpit does not guess where a finding belongs.

New document

The start is new as well: under “New document” you begin with a blank document, from a template, from a Word or PDF file, or with a guided draft in which the AI asks questions step by step.

What it does not do

  • A finding is a pointer, not a verdict. “Nothing to flag” only means that nothing was found in the reviewed area.
  • The cockpit does not review documents you have excluded from the AI, and the review is blocked in the sample case file.
  • A review uses AI quota; if it takes a large share of your monthly quota, the portal asks explicitly. If the AI service does not respond, nothing is charged.
