I am a lawyer — how do I get access to the lawyer portal?
As an admitted lawyer, you register separately for the lawyer portal — even with an email address already known to us.
This account is for the client side of Smart Legal Pro. If you are an admitted lawyer and wish to use the separate lawyer portal (case files, agents, mandates from the marketplace), please register for it separately.
How it works
- Open Smart Legal Pro for Lawyers.
- Register with your title, name, law firm (Kanzlei), country of admission, and practice areas.
- After email confirmation and activation, the operational lawyer functions will be available to you.
Are you already using the same email address here in the client account?
No problem — the system recognizes that this address is already known. If you are logged in at the time of the lawyer registration, the portal will guide you directly to "Add lawyer profile": you simply add your law firm details there without having to set a second password. Your existing account remains usable without changes — you additionally gain access to the lawyer portal.
Two separate areas, one account
The client side and the lawyer portal are deliberately separate interfaces with different ranges of functions. Lawyers can find out more about the process on the lawyer side (registration, verification, activation) in the separate law firm manual after logging in.
