What does it cost?
Firms use Smart Legal Pro on a subscription — each plan includes fixed monthly quotas (e.g. case files, agent runs) instead of billing per AI action. Referred mandates from the marketplace are separate — and free of charge. You'll find every plan and what it includes on our pricing page for firms. During the trial phase we provide access on request.
Are matters exclusive?
Pool leads are visible to all verified lawyers matching the specialisation. First unlock = assignment. Direct assignments are exclusive.
How does unlocking pool leads work?
Pool leads are visible to matching, verified lawyers. Unlocking assigns the lead to you for good (first unlock = assignment) and is free — it is neither billed nor counted against your plan quota. Still, review the teaser details (practice area, region, complexity, score) before unlocking: the assignment is binding and cannot be undone. Directly assigned matters reach you without unlocking.
Who is liable?
The instructing lawyer or firm. Smart Legal Pro is an intermediary under German legal services law, not legal advice. See RDG notices & terms.
Is this suitable for larger firms?
Yes. There is no tier split — sole practitioners, partnerships and larger firms use the same platform and terms.
Do I have to use the marketplace and the matters?
No. Smart Legal Pro is first and foremost your AI workbench: create your own case files, upload documents and work right away with assistant, agents and Lex & Lexi — like ChatGPT, but for your cases and with case memory. The marketplace with pre-qualified matters is an optional plus, not a requirement.
