> Status: Mediation to law firms via Smart Legal Pro is currently in planning and is not available at this time. This article describes the planned process. Information on how you can currently find a lawyer yourself and forward your documents can be found in Finding a lawyer.

Under My inquiries, all inquiries that you have sent to law firms are consolidated.

What you can see there

  • For each inquiry: topic, area of law, and the date.
  • The status: new, accepted, in progress, completed, or declined.
  • The exchange with the law firm (messages) as soon as they respond.

How you stay informed

  • Replies and status changes appear in your notifications and can – depending on your settings – arrive via email and as a notification.
  • Open an inquiry to continue the conversation or to answer follow-up questions from the law firm.

If a law firm declines

A rejection is not the end of the world – you can direct the same, well-prepared inquiry to another law firm (Finding a lawyer).
