Photography Agreement
From a client shoot to a model release — usage rights, remuneration and the credit requirement clearly regulated from the start.
The photography agreement governs two typical scenarios: a client shoot (the photographer is commissioned by a client for a shoot, e.g. product photos, business portraits, an event) or a model release (the photographer photographs a model and obtains a grant of, or consent to, the use of the images — including a TFP option). The wizard makes clear that, regardless of whether the images qualify as a photographic work or a simple photograph under copyright law, the photographer remains the rights holder, and it steers the type of use, the scope of usage rights, any time/territorial limitation, and the remuneration model.

For complex fields such as the scope of services or the purpose, you can request a suggestion via the sparkle button — the suggestion stays editable before it enters the contract.
Once created, you can hand the contract to a suitable lawyer from our network with one click — including full text and metadata.
For underage models, this template is deliberately strict: without documented consent from both persons with parental responsibility, the wizard does not allow finalization without an explicit warning notice — in this case we also recommend legal review before the shoot, in particular because of possible authorization requirements under German youth-employment protection law.
Our templates are ready-made documents that you adapt to your case. They are not legal advice and do not replace a review by a lawyer; we give no guarantee of correctness, completeness or up-to-dateness. Use is at your own responsibility.
