Response cut off? Simply continue
If an AI response ends due to a length limit or a technical interruption, you can continue it exactly where it left off with a single click — free of charge if the truncation occurred on our end.
Very long responses may end at the technical length limit of the AI model – the response then cuts off in the middle of the text. Less frequently, a technical interruption (e.g., a disruption at the AI provider) may end a response prematurely.
We detect this automatically. Instead of leaving a response that has been cut off without comment, the chat will show you a notification along with a Continue button.
- Continue picks up exactly where the response left off – without repeating what has already been written.
- If the truncation was on our end (length limit or technical interruption), continuing is free of charge – the button will display "Continue (free)". This applies to up to three continuations for the same response.
- If you stopped the response yourself, continuing will cost a standard chat message; the price is indicated on the button. The button therefore always shows in advance whether and what the continuation will cost.
- The button remains available even after reloading the page at the last truncated response.
- Alternatively, you can simply ask a follow-up question of your own.
For structured evaluations (e.g., document analysis), the system also attempts to automatically generate the complete response in the background before displaying it to you.
