Workspace status: the sidebar that thinks along
A collapsible sidebar next to the chat displays your document/case file, all reply cards from this conversation (clickable), and open recommendations — without you having to search for them.
In the chat, you can open the workspace status using the icon in the top right — a fixed sidebar on large screens, or a panel that slides in from the side on smartphones.
What you see there
- Facts & context: which document is currently in context and which case file the conversation is linked to (a click opens it).
- Artifacts of this session: every reply card (email, letter, quote, table, code) that has been created in this conversation — clickable, jumps back to the appropriate place in the history.
- Next steps: suggestions for the last reply, the same mechanism as "Deep dive" under older replies.
- Recommendations: an open recommendation from Lexi, if one is currently pending.
An action bar under every reply
Under every reply, you will now consistently find: Copy, Rate (👍/👎), and "Turn into" — adopt as a letter, export as a document (DOCX), hand over to a lawyer, or save the conversation. These are existing functions, now offered consistently in one place instead of being scattered across the page.
No second system
The workspace status does not invent anything new — it bundles the activity feed, the reply cards, and the recommendations that already exist into one place. In the law firm portal, there is the same panel for the AI assistant — a common appearance for "the AI is working for you".
