Credits: The credit system
What credits are, how they are consumed, and where you can view your balance.
Actions in Smart Legal Pro (e.g., an analysis or a letter) are billed via credits. Credits are your balance for AI services.
How it works
- Every paid action has a price that you see in advance as a cost notification.
- The deduction only occurs after your confirmation.
- You can view your current balance at any time under Credits.
Where do credits come from?
- Upon registration, you receive a free starting amount.
- Via your plan or by topping up (Topping up & redeeming credits).
- Some actions are free of charge (e.g., the conversation summary via email or assistance from Lex and Lexi). Whether a step is free is indicated directly before it.
Credits do not expire
Credits do not expire – neither topped-up credits nor those from your subscription, even if your subscription ends.
Receipt on the result
Below some results, such as the strategy for a matter, there is a small line indicating what was charged for it and when (or that it was refunded) – with a link to the history under Credits.
Why a credit system?
This way, you only pay for what you actually use and see the price transparently before every action. You can see the exact credit price per action in the cost notification before the action and under Credits – it is always up to date.
