Representing yourself in court

Having court mail explained in plain English

Upload a court order, evidentiary ruling, summons, or judgment – the AI explains: what it is, what it means, what needs to be done, and by when.

Try it now

If you receive mail from the court, you do not have to guess. Upload the letter to My documents (or directly into your case file) and have it explained.

What you will learn

  • What is it? A brief classification (Verfügung (court order), Beweisbeschluss (evidentiary ruling), summons, settlement proposal, judgment...).
  • What does it mean for me? In simple language.
  • What needs to be done? Concrete next steps.
  • By when? Identified deadlines are detected and transferred to your deadline register. If a deadline starts with the receipt of the letter, enter the date of receipt there – only then is the end date calculated and only then can the reminder run.

Keeping an overview

Every explained Gerichtspost (court mail) appears in the history – with its meaning and the next step. For every letter, there is an option to Ask the AI: The chat opens for your matter with a prepared question ("What exactly does this mean, what do I need to do by when, do I need a lawyer?") – you send it yourself. Explanations are generously included in the entry-level plan; the "n of N remaining" counter on the button shows your current status.

Taking action afterwards

The explanation often leads to the next step: drafting a statement or a reply letter, preparing for an oral hearing, creating an action plan (Action-Brief) – or, if it becomes too delicate, consulting a lawyer.

The explanation is an AI assessment and does not replace a lawyer's review – see How reliable is the AI?.
