Short letters by voice (Lexus)
Simply dictate a short letter and receive it as a PDF/DOCX via email.
With Lexus, you can generate a short letter directly from your speech – convenient if you prefer speaking to typing. Lexus is designed for short letters and simple agreements.
How to proceed
- Open the writing assistant and start the Lexus entry ("Create by voice") there; it opens the voice input in the appropriate mode.
- Describe what should be written – Lexus will ask follow-up questions and read the draft back to you.
- Confirm the letter during the conversation.
- After the conversation, the letter is generated and sent to you as a DOCX/PDF via email.
Good to know
- Lexus is a separate operating mode of the voice input and is intentionally not included in the standard persona picker (Lex/Lexi). There is a second way to access it after a conversation with Lexi or Lex: the summary offers to dictate a short letter or a small agreement with Lexus – only after you click, and the price is displayed beforehand. Lexus does not look up anything in your account during this process.
- Like every conversation, it has a maximum duration; the voice input process is explained in Explaining via voice (Voice).
- You can see the costs before starting via the cost notice (Credits: The credit system). If the generation fails, the credits will be refunded (Refunds & Reimbursements).
Limitations
Lexus generates a template/initial assessment, not a legal letter. For important matters, have it checked before sending (Finding a lawyer, Limits of AI & No Legal Advice). For longer or structured letters, it is better to use the catalog (Creating legal letters) or the writing assistant.
