System Status & Incident Reports
The public status page shows the live operational status and incident history — optionally subscribable via email.
At smartlegalpro.com/status you will find the public, technical operational status of the platform — viewable without a login, for everyone.
What the page shows
- Live Health Check: Database, Edge Functions, and AI gateway, automatically updated every 30 seconds.
- Incident History: Current and past incidents (up to 90 days back), with severity (minor/major/critical) and a history of individual updates — from "investigating" to "resolved".
- Each incident is assigned to a target group: Consumer platform, Law firm platform, or both — if an incident only affects the law firm platform, it still appears here but is labeled accordingly.
Get notified about incidents
On the same page, you can register with your email address for incident notifications and choose which platform you are interested in. After a double opt-in confirmation, you will receive a short email as soon as there is a new update regarding an incident. This is explicitly not marketing — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the end of each of these emails.
Notices directly in the app: Outage, maintenance, announcement
If there is an outage, scheduled maintenance is pending, or we need to communicate something important, we display a notice as a banner at the top – in the app, in the login area, and on the public pages. It states the type (outage, maintenance, or notice), a title, for maintenance the timeframe ("Scheduled from...", "Expected until..."), and, where known, the affected areas (login, AI functions, documents, payments, email dispatch, voice conversation). You only see what concerns the consumer platform; a maximum of three notices are displayed at the same time.
- "Dismiss notice" hides it for the current session; if there is an update, it will reappear.
- The same announcements are available on the status page under "Current notices", and completed ones under "Past notices" (90 days). There is no banner there itself, so that nothing appears twice; on the login and support pages, a separate notice explains an ongoing outage in context.
- The texts appear in your language, provided a translation is available; otherwise, they appear in English or German (German is the binding version).
- A notice ends automatically as soon as the announcement is concluded.
We only send an email to subscribers of the status page when necessary, not for every announcement – therefore, do not rely solely on an email.
New version available
We ship improvements continuously, even while you are working. When the platform detects a newer version, the notice "New version available" with a Refresh button appears at the bottom. Your work is preserved: you can finish what you are doing. On your next page change, the platform loads the new version by itself — except while an AI response is running, an upload or a batch evaluation is running, unsaved changes or an unsent message are open, or you are currently typing. If a section of the page cannot be reloaded during this time, a short notice with Retry appears in its place — the rest of the page remains usable. You stay signed in.
What the status is not
It reports the technical availability of the platform components, not the response times of the AI in individual cases or deadlines regarding your specific matter (Keeping track of deadlines). We announce scheduled maintenance – as soon as it is confirmed – as a notice in the app and on the status page. In the event of an individual problem with your account, Support is the right path, not the status page.
