Smart Legal Pro adapts to whether you are using it for private or business purposes.

The Difference

  • Private: Focus on everyday law – e.g., letters such as an objection or termination (letter creation).
  • Business: additionally includes multiple business identities (see below) for letterheads and invoices; the everyday-law letter catalog is hidden to keep the view focused.
  • Both: all tools are visible, including the letter catalog.

The contract generator, contract review, and comparison are available to all users regardless of the selected view.

Switching

You can switch the view in the Settings. If you are missing a tool (e.g., contracts), it is usually due to the selected view.

Multiple Identities

For business purposes, you can create multiple identities (e.g., private, UG, GmbH, freelancer) and select the active identity before each action. Letterheads and invoices will then automatically follow the selected identity. You can also manage these identities in the Settings.

How you can otherwise customize your account is described in managing your account.
