Recommendations from Lexi: the next logical step

Lexi actively suggests the next step – with visible origin and credit price before you click. Declining is remembered permanently.

Smart Legal Pro does not just wait for your next question. At appropriate points – in the dashboard, in the chat after a completed answer, and in the proceeding cockpit (Filing a lawsuit yourself with AI support – the Litigation guide) – Lexi displays a small recommendation card with the next logical step.

Where does a recommendation come from?

Each card visibly states its origin instead of a vague claim:

  • "Based on your document analysis ..." – e.g., when a document has undergone a deep analysis but no reply letter has been drafted yet, or when recognized citations/references have not yet been confirmed.
  • "Based on Playbook ..." – when our curated roadmap for your legal area provides for a specific next step.
  • "Based on your deadline ..." – when a deadline is due within the next two weeks.

This indication of origin is not a running text invented by the AI, but a fixed feature of every recommendation.

Costs before the click

If the suggested next step costs credits (e.g., a reply letter), you will see the price directly on the card – before any click, not after (Where do I see what something costs before I start?). Recommendations that do not cost anything (e.g., checking citations) are marked as "Free".

Declining with memory

You can hide a recommendation using the small ×. Smart Legal Pro remembers this permanently – the same recommendation for the same occasion will not appear again. There is no endless repetition of the same prompt.

Why it is designed this way

The cards are meant to think ahead without being intrusive: only at genuine transitions (after an answer, when opening the dashboard), always with proof and price, and declinable. This follows the same philosophy as the activity feed and the answer cards – traceability instead of a black box.
