A new document in the case file, and the Co-Pilot reports in of its own accord: it updates the case status and tells you what has changed and what follows from it — without you having to keep track.
The problem
Cases run on for years. It is impossible to hold in your head, with every new letter, what it means for the overall picture — which deadline it triggers, which claim it corrects, which next step is now due. Until now, this is exactly where you had to rely on your own memory.
What now happens automatically
As soon as a document arrives in a case file that already has a fact graph, the Co-Pilot advances the case status and generates a notice, "New document — change & consequence":
- What has changed (short and specific).
- Which consequences and deadlines arise.
- What needs to be done next.
If a deadline is involved, the notice is given high priority. One click opens a case chat that explains the change and its implications in detail.
Also right in the chat
Open a chat linked to the case that has lain dormant since the change, and a discreet banner appears: "This case has changed since your last visit." With "What has changed?" you can have the implications summarised at the touch of a button — the AI already knows the current position.
Staying honest
The digest draws on the facts recorded in the case file. It contextualises and reminds — the legal assessment and the monitoring of deadlines remain the lawyer's responsibility. More on this: AI transparency.
