An AI that agrees with you is comfortable — but dangerous. Lex & Lexi are two: Lex argues for your thesis, Lexi against it. In their debate you see the weak points in your case before the other side or the court does.
Why two instead of one?
Large language models have a weakness that gets expensive in law: they are polite. Ask a model whether your position holds up and you usually get an agreeable, plausible-sounding answer — even when the other side would have an open goal.
Lex & Lexi solve this through dialectic. Two personas with different briefs discuss your case back and forth:
- Lex — builds up the position, looks for the load-bearing arguments.
- Lexi — pushes back, attacks, exposes gaps and risks.
Whatever is left at the end has already survived a round of headwind. This is not a toy, it's applied diligence.
Six tools, one principle
Lex & Lexi aren't a single button but six specialised tools:

Lex for, Lexi against — round after round, until the arguments are exhausted, with a clear closing assessment. For the contested legal question where you really want to see both sides.

Here the two pull in the same direction: Lex and Lexi jointly assemble the strongest arguments for your position. For when the direction is set and you need substance.
3. Chains of norms
Lex identifies the legal bases for the claim, Lexi adds the procedural points and the burden of proof — step by step to a clean examination of the claim.
4. Pleading check
Upload your draft: Lex checks structure and gaps, Lexi attacks from the other side's perspective and flags where it could hurt. The stress test before you file.

You direct
Lex & Lexi don't simply run on their own. The debate is a hybrid of automation and control: the two stream in turn in real time — you watch every thought take shape — and you can step in at any moment:
- Pause and read at your leisure,
- steer a round ("address the limitation period", "check the basis for the damages claim"),
- stop when it's enough,
- or extend beyond the natural end when you want one more round.

Prepare first, then debate
Real documents are rarely clean. A statement of claim comes with a letterhead, a case number, a closing salutation. So that Lex & Lexi argue about the substance and not about the letterhead, there's a preliminary step: the AI prepares the raw text, strips out ballast such as letterheads and boilerplate and keeps the facts — dates, amounts, claims. Only this distilled set of facts goes into the debate.
Out of the file, into the file
As everywhere in the Anwaltsportal, the rule is: documents come from the DMS or the case file — or fresh from your hard drive — and the finished result goes back into the case file or as DOCX and PDF to download. No copy-and-paste detour, no lost interim versions: the analysis stays attached to exactly the case it belongs to.

A Lex & Lexi result is a starting point, not a full stop. With one click you carry the entire discussion, summary included, into the AI Assistant: "Draft a lawyer-ready document from these arguments in favour" — and the chat continues with the full context. Multilingual, for every jurisdiction
Lex & Lexi aren't hard-wired to German law. Language and jurisdiction follow your profile: a firm in France debates French law in French, one in Austria Austrian law. The personas reason in a structured way internally and answer in your language.
Built securely
- EU AI via European model routes.
- PII masking: real names, addresses and case numbers are masked towards the model and only restored again for you.
- No invented sources: the personas are instructed not to invent case numbers or citations; in the negotiation coach, sources must come from your files. Checking remains your job — inventing is forbidden.
