Messages to the firm: protected exchange within the case file
Enlarge imageIn the “Messages” tab the client talks to her firm directly in the case file, without email. A note at the top points out that the messages are visible only to the firm and are subject to lawyer-client confidentiality. Her message shows “Read” once the firm has opened it, and the reply appears below. The paperclip attaches a shared document, and “Explain” puts a message into plain language on request.
