Minijob Agreement (Marginal Employment)
A standalone, complete employment contract for marginal (low-paid) employment — with all minijob-specific mandatory information.
The minijob agreement is a standalone, complete employment contract for marginal employment under § 8 of the German Social Code Book IV (SGB IV) — not an add-on to an existing contract. The wizard distinguishes between the permanent minijob and time-limited short-term employment, takes into account the earnings threshold that is dynamically linked to the statutory minimum wage, the pension-insurance obligation with an opt-out option, and the aggregation requirement when there are multiple minijobs.

Who it is for: Employers newly hiring for marginal employment (a minijob) — in retail, hospitality, private households or other sectors.
For complex fields such as the scope of services or the purpose, you can request a suggestion via the sparkle button — the suggestion stays editable before it enters the contract.
Once created, you can hand the contract to a suitable lawyer from our network with one click — including full text and metadata.
For multiple minijobs whose combined earnings exceed the threshold, or when converting an existing employment relationship into a minijob, we recommend legal review — retroactive social-insurance liability and back payments may be at stake.
Our templates are ready-made documents that you adapt to your case. They are not legal advice and do not replace a review by a lawyer; we give no guarantee of correctness, completeness or up-to-dateness. Use is at your own responsibility.
