Creating contracts

Generate contracts from verified templates – with a guided wizard.

Updated 4 October 2026

Using the contract generator, you can create contracts from verified templates – ranging from everyday contracts such as home office agreements or mini-job contracts to complex topics like shareholders' agreements or game development contracts.

How to proceed

  1. Select the contract type.
  2. The wizard will ask for the necessary information; relevant clauses will be shown or hidden accordingly.
  3. You will receive the finished contract for download (PDF/DOCX) – editable.

Drafts in progress

Your entries in the wizard are continuously saved as a draft – nothing is charged at this stage. In the contract overview, you will find all started contracts under "Drafts in progress" and can continue with "Continue"; "Discard draft" deletes the entries after a confirmation prompt. Within the wizard itself, "Start over" begins with an empty form. If there are both entries from a conversation and a saved draft for a template, the wizard will ask you which one you would like to continue with.

New version, edit, or revise with AI?

On the page of a finished contract, there are three ways to obtain a modified version:

  • Edit: You change the text yourself in the editor – free of charge.
  • Revise with AI: The AI suggests changes that you can accept individually (How do I adapt and revise a contract?); the price is displayed beforehand.
  • New version from the form: The contract is created anew from your form entries and incurs the template price again. Edits and AI revisions of the previous version are not carried over – which is why the app asks beforehand and states the costs.

Each version is preserved as its own version; the version overview shows its origin (form, edit, AI revision, or deep analysis). You can compare two versions of your own contract there for free.

Overview of available contract types

All templates follow the same principle: guided wizard, alternative clauses with justification, compliance notices. Grouped by topic:

  • Everyday & Work: Employment contract, home office/mobile work agreement, mini-job contract, termination agreement, managing director service agreement.
  • Confidentiality & Data Protection: Non-disclosure agreement (NDA), data processing agreement (AVV), privacy policy for website/app – see also Privacy Policy and DPA: two building blocks, one goal.
  • Services & IT: Freelance/service contract, IT service/maintenance contract, SaaS contract, software development contract, web design contract, agency contract, master service agreement (MSA), consulting contract, coaching contract.
  • Trade & Construction: General terms and conditions (B2B), general terms and conditions for consumers (B2C), B2B purchase/supply contract, commercial/office lease agreement, subcontractor contract, commercial agent contract, franchise agreement.
  • Finance & Corporate Law: Loan agreement, shareholders' agreement (SHA), convertible loan, virtual stock option plan (VSOP).
  • Creative Industry & Creator Economy: License agreement (IP), cooperation agreement/LOI, influencer/artist management contract, adult creator management contract, sponsoring/brand cooperation contract, affiliate/partner program agreement, photo contract, game development contract.

You can see the complete catalog with all details in the contract generator itself or on the public contracts overview.

For yourself or for the team

If you belong to a Team-Arbeitsbereich, the last step before creation asks who the contract is for – personally or for the team. If assigned to a team, all members with access to this workspace will see the finished contract in their own contract list. If you have stored multiple company identities, you can additionally select which one applies to the contract.

Review & compare

Existing contracts can be reviewed and adjusted (How do I adapt and revise a contract?) or two versions can be compared.

Important

Generated contracts are based on templates and serve as a draft. For larger amounts or far-reaching obligations, legal review is recommended (Finding a lawyer).

The exact costs are shown in the cost notice before creation (Credits: The credit system, Prices & Costs — what does what cost?).
