Connections between your information
How identified facts relate to one another – as a searchable list or as a visual network, including potential conflicts.
Beyond the individual identified facts, Smart Legal Pro also shows you how these facts relate to one another – for example, that a specific deadline belongs to a specific contract, or that two pieces of information from different documents contradict each other. In the app, this area is called "Connections between your information".
Where can I find this?
Open a case file under case files. Below the identified facts, you will find the connections area as soon as the AI has identified at least one connection between your information.
Two views
- List (default): each relationship as its own row, with the two linked pieces of information, a short explanation, and – where available – a link to the reference point in the original.
- Graphic: the same connections as a visual network of nodes (your information) and connecting lines. Practical if a case file contains many pieces of information and you want to get a quick overview.
With the search and the filter "Conflicts only", you can specifically find what you are looking for.
Using the keyboard: You can operate the graphic without a mouse. Tab jumps to the first point, the arrow keys switch to the next point in the pressed direction (they do not move anything), and the Enter key opens the details. You can find the same connections at any time in the list view.
If two pieces of information contradict each other
If two documents in the same case file contain a contradictory piece of information – for example, different amounts in two letters –, the AI clearly marks this (red frame, warning symbol). You then decide between four options:
- Keep value A or Keep value B – the respective other piece of information is archived but remains accessible as a reference.
- Confirm conflict – both values remain active, the conflict remains visibly marked (practical if you still need to clarify it yourself, for example with the opposing party).
- No conflict – discards a false alarm without changing anything in your information.
View previous versions
Using the time travel selection, you can also see the connections at an earlier point in time – for example, what the status looked like before a specific document.
Save as file
Using "Export", you can download the complete overview as a JSON file – for example, for your own records or to share it with a lawyer.
Good to know
This view is purely a query of already existing information – viewing, filtering, time travel, and exporting do not cost any additional credits. Adding new facts (via document analysis or extracting under Detected facts (persons, dates, amounts, deadlines)) is, as usual, an AI action with its own cost notice (Where do I see what something costs before I start?).
This assessment does not replace legal advice – check critical points against the original (How reliable is the AI?).
