According to the notice, is a driving ban or points also threatened?

Deadline at a glance

2 weeks from service

§ 67 OWiG

The objection must reach the fine authority (Bußgeldbehörde) within 2 weeks of service, in writing or recorded in person on file — after that, the notice becomes final.

It is an AI, not a person: nobody looks at your individual case, and we do not know who signs up or for what reason. That is why we give pointers, but no legal advice on the individual case. Guidelines and playbooks in the platform are only guardrails: the AI relies on the available sources and your information. AI can make mistakes — check important results, and if in doubt, ask a lawyer.

Typical risks in this scenario

What we pay special attention to

Curated from real cases. The AI review flags exactly these points in your document.

  • The deadline is often missed because it is shorter than the usual one-month objection period.

  • Tolerance deductions in speed/distance measurements are rarely checked correctly.

  • A driving ban can be imposed despite a comparatively small fine.

What you can do here in 5 minutes

A fine notice (Bußgeldbescheid) penalizes a regulatory offense (Ordnungswidrigkeit) — unlike a mere warning fine (Verwarngeld), formal fine proceedings have already been opened here. If you consider the notice wrong or suspect procedural errors, you must lodge a written objection (Einspruch) within two weeks of service (§ 67 OWiG) — otherwise the notice becomes final and enforceable.

Upload the notice — our AI tools check the date of service, tolerance deductions, the measuring method and possible procedural errors and prepare the objection on time.

How it works

Results in three steps

1

Secure the date of service & deadline

Establish the date of service and mark the 2-week deadline in your calendar.

2

Check measurement/procedure

Cross-check the tolerance deduction, the measuring method and the formal details in the notice.

3

Draft the objection

A deadline-preserving objection to the fine authority; the grounds can be submitted later.

What you get
  • Secure the date of service & deadline – Establish the date of service and mark the 2-week deadline in your calendar.
  • Check measurement/procedure – Cross-check the tolerance deduction, the measuring method and the formal details in the notice.
  • Draft the objection – A deadline-preserving objection to the fine authority; the grounds can be submitted later.
What it is not
  • No representation before the local court.
  • No guarantee of success — where the evidence is clear, the fine stands.
  • No on-site expert examination of the measuring equipment.

Transparency

What the AI checks — and what only a lawyer can decide

An AI is only as good as the question. We show openly where your answer is reliable and where you should speak with a lawyer.

If a driving ban or points in the Flensburg register are threatened, if it is disputed who was driving, or in the case of a repeat offense.
