Warning Band: Changed Payment Details, Wrong Reply Address, Suspicious File
Enlarge imageAbove the email text appears “Please check,” along with everything that stands out: a stated new bank account, a differing reply address, unconfirmed authenticity of the sender, an attachment with a double extension such as “Invoice.pdf.exe,” or a shortened link. The program detects this using rules applied to the text and the header lines; no AI is involved, and nothing is blocked or changed. This way, a typical fraud attempt against law firms is spotted before anyone pays or opens an attachment. The notices are not verdicts – for forwarded emails, a missing authenticity indication can be harmless.
