Deadline at a glance

8 weeks from receipt of the bill

§ 67 TKG

Complaints about the billing must be raised within 8 weeks of receipt of the bill — after that, the provider may treat the bill as accepted.

It is an AI, not a person: nobody looks at your individual case, and we do not know who signs up or for what reason. That is why we give pointers, but no legal advice on the individual case. Guidelines and playbooks in the platform are only guardrails: the AI relies on the available sources and your information. AI can make mistakes — check important results, and if in doubt, ask a lawyer.

Typical risks in this scenario

What we pay special attention to

Curated from real cases. The AI review flags exactly these points in your document.

  • The 8-week deadline is often missed because it is shorter than for many other complaints.

  • With an automatic contract renewal, the objection period is often missed.

  • Without an itemized bill, disputed items can hardly be proven.

What you can do here in 5 minutes

If there are discrepancies in your phone or internet bill, you can request an itemized bill (Einzelverbindungsnachweis) (§ 66 TKG) and dispute the billing within 8 weeks of receipt (§ 67 TKG). If that does not resolve the matter, the free telecommunications conciliation body of the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) can help (§ 68 TKG).

Upload the bill — we identify disputed items and prepare the complaint together with an application for conciliation.

How it works

Results in three steps

1

Itemized bill

Request the itemized bill from the provider (§ 66 TKG).

2

Submit the complaint

Name the disputed items, pay the undisputed part and observe the 8-week deadline.

3

Conciliation

If no agreement is reached, involve the conciliation body of the Federal Network Agency (free of charge).

What you get
  • Itemized bill – Request the itemized bill from the provider (§ 66 TKG).
  • Submit the complaint – Name the disputed items, pay the undisputed part and observe the 8-week deadline.
  • Conciliation – If no agreement is reached, involve the conciliation body of the Federal Network Agency (free of charge).
What it is not
  • No technical examination of data connections.
  • No representation in court.
  • No detailed review of network coverage or performance promises.

Transparency

What the AI checks — and what only a lawyer can decide

An AI is only as good as the question. We show openly where your answer is reliable and where you should speak with a lawyer.

In the case of repeated disputes with the same provider or high disputed amounts.
