Confidentiality, conflicts of interest and AI labeling are not an add-on for a law firm. The assistant warns you based on your own conflict block list, takes technical and organizational safeguards for § 203 StGB and hosts in the EU. The measures are described in the data processing agreement.

Protecting confidentiality

Safeguards for § 203 StGB

Confidentiality is not just a promise: data lives on EU servers, matters are separated by row-level security (RLS), pseudonymization of personal data ahead of the AI gateway can be enabled and logged with proof per firm, and your contents train no model.

No bought-in detection

We look it up instead of guessing

Other providers combine an AI cloud with a separately purchased detection service for personal data. Here that step is part of the platform — and it works without a model that has to guess names. Who is a party, witness or opposing side in your matter is already typed in your relationship graph; we read it there. What can be recognized structurally, we recognize structurally: legal forms such as GmbH, AG or GmbH & Co. KG, IBAN and ID checksums, salutation and diagnosis patterns.

No additional provider that sees your matter texts in the clear — detection never leaves your platform.
A rule set is verifiable, versionable and explainable. For your documentation duty that is the difference between evidence and an assertion.
Detection quality is measured, not estimated: in a test corpus of 83 everyday documents, no part of the name stays in plain text for 98.6% of person and company names (138 of 140); the result is open in the project.

Two further building blocks belong to this picture: every document a client opens in the client portal is logged per document. And for a firm with several lawyers, seats, roles and the compliance package are administered together in the firm settings — instead of hunting across separate screens to see who can access what.
