At the top are the tabs Home, Statutes, Decisions, Legal concepts and Changes, below them a search field for provision, file number or keyword and a line with key figures on sections, decisions, statutes and legal concepts. You search across all content or only in provisions or decisions, filter by area of law on the left and find the most-cited provisions in the middle. This gives you a quick entry into statutory texts and case law without leaving the platform. A note states the scope: German federal law, GDPR and EU case law; on the right you reach legal codes and frequently searched terms.

Browse Decisions: Court, Year and Citation Frequency
In the “Decisions” tab, the library lists judgments and orders under “Most cited” with court, year and type of decision; to the right of each entry it states how often the decision is cited. You narrow down on the left by area of law and search by “Title & citation” or “In the wording”, additionally by court and year. This way you find relevant case law on a topic, and the citation frequency gives you a first orientation as to which decisions are often relied on. The number does not replace your own review of the decision.

A Provision with Statute Context, Legal Concepts and Citation Aid
The provision page shows § 622 BGB (German Civil Code) here with heading, area of law and statute, and below it the wording. In the right column are ready fields for citing – citation and permalink with a copy button –, the neighboring sections in the statute, related legal concepts and the number of decisions that cite the provision. With “Take to assistant” you pass the provision on to the AI assistant, and with “Copy citation” you take the reference into your text. This spares you searching for neighboring provisions and the typing when citing.

Citation Network: Which Decisions Cite a Provision
The “Citation neighborhood” shows as a cloud the provision § 622 BGB in the center and around it the decisions that cite it, with court and file number; dashed lines lead to connected legal concepts. The nodes are colored by court level and their size follows the number of citations, while the color says nothing about importance. You click a node, load further neighbors with a double click, or switch to the column view and sort by “Newest” or “Most cited”. This way you follow how a provision is used in case law; a selection of the citing decisions is shown, the newest by decision date.

Searching the Legal Library: “Kündigungsfrist” in Provisions and Decisions
The legal library searches provisions, decisions and legal concepts in one go, here for “Kündigungsfrist” (notice period). Tabs narrow to provisions or decisions, on the left you narrow by area of law, at the top by court or year, and you choose whether to search by title and citation or in the wording. Above the hits, legal concepts lead to related topics, and next to the sections is a number for citation frequency. The note “Included” states the scope: German federal law, GDPR and EU case law.

Legal Concepts by Area of Law: Start from the Keyword
The concept register arranges legal concepts by area of law, such as civil law, employment law or tenancy law, with the number of concepts per area. Below the selected area, the concepts are listed alphabetically, each with the number of associated sections. One click leads to the concept, its provisions and the decisions that interpret it. This way you enter the provisions and the citation network via a keyword, without already knowing the section.

Decision in Full Text: Operative Part, Facts and Citation Aid
The detail page of a decision of the Federal Labor Court (Bundesarbeitsgericht) shows court, date, file number, type and area of law, and below it the full text with operative part and statement of facts. On the right are citation aids: the file number and a permalink to copy, and the list of decisions that cite this judgment, arranged by court. With “Take to assistant” you take the decision along into the chat, and “Copy citation” puts the reference on the clipboard. Via “Relationships” you switch the citation list to a graphic.

Who Cites Whom: The Citation Network of a Single Decision
The citation network shows a decision in the center, on the left the judgments that cite it and on the right the provisions it relies on. Circles stand for decisions, squares with a section sign for provisions, and size and color reflect the number of citations and the court level. A click selects a node, a double click loads further neighbors, dragging moves them, and with Ctrl and the mouse wheel you zoom. Above, you switch between cloud and columns and between the newest and the most-cited judgments.
